Recommended Reading: Sea Cowboys

I read the dead-tree version of last month's Wired's The Sea Cowboys.  It was unlike most Wired articles, and I loved it.  It's longish, but I think it's worth it.  After you read it, come back here, and read beyond the cut.

After all that effort, loss of life, they succeed in righting the ship, and what does Mazda do with their nearly 5000 saved vehicles?  Smash every single one of them in a Texas Shredder.  Just because they can't be sure nothing is wrong with them.  This litigious society, indeed.

Oh!  And in the dead-tree version of the article?  The little page numbers in the corner are nearly capsized, too!  So cute!
