Better vs. Popular

This TechCrunch article on flickr vs. Photobucket is very revealing with regard to adaption of seemingly hot technologies. It also suggests there's some gaming of stats gathering and analysis going on. Which isn't surprising.

It turns out that I don't jibe with the masses much. (And I'm not an early adaptor or a non-conformist. I just like the tools that work best for me. Python, flickr, mozy, livejournal and WordPress so far. Currently trying to assess vox...)
