Correction: IE still isn't ready for png.

I just finished creating a few semi-transparent pngs for my latest blog entry, and it turn out that they, too, display incorrectly in Internet Explorer. Augh!

We all know that MSIE is only transparent to hackers and virusses. :)

Bah-dum-bum! That was quite clever.

I'm not going to enter a browser war discussion, but c'mon. Imagine a web with correctly displayed semi-transparent images. What a thing of potential beauty! And it is MSIE, alone, preventing the wide adaption of png files.

As if tabs alone weren't argument enough to switch...

And yet png files are slowly taking over despite all the MS efforts.
I just think that as MS gets bigger and bigger it needs a harder and harder kick to change direction.
