And for good measure, Microsoft's Silicon Valley Headquarters is just above the dot of the first i in "Mountain View" on the map.
After Trippy's campaign to Silicon Valley's Birthplace and then the US Capitol, the HP Garage became a national landmark and Trippy (with the garage in the background) made the cover of Wired magazine.
This, by the way, is all true.

Trippy has his way with a squeaky toy lizard

I took the family down to San Diego for Spring Break. At the San Diego Zoo, what do I see but a recent house guest of ours getting his groove on with another toy lizard in public!
Evidently, behind
halophoenix and
forestdweller's back, Trippy made his way to San Diego, donned a price tag, and jumped into a bin full of female squeaky toy lizards.
I pulled him out, and started to chew him out, when he squeaked, and security told me I'd have to buy him or put him back. I started to tell him that Trippy's not in the Zoo inventory, and that he actually belongs to a mannequin in Northern California, but thought better of it.
I put Trippy back with the girls and left. You win this round, Trippy.
I uploaded the enclosed photo without any editing. The EXIF data is exactly as the camera wrote. Note the date. Phoenix? Raevyn? Were you aware of this?
Here is a bird's eye view of the Computer Camp excursions. Geotagging rocks! Zoom in all the way on Google, select Satellite view, and you can see exactly where the sign, dinosaur, and water features are!
Cool that Flickr, a Yahoo company, Geotags with Google maps. We can all get along!

Trippy and Ancestor at Google

On Computer Camp's second excursion day, we visited Google and Yahoo. (Note, Google can't map Yahoo's address. (Even though they're like two miles apart. Sheesh.))
Google is everything they said it was. Utopia! Not only that, they brought in a family member for Trippy, to make him feel even more welcome. After the reunion, Trippy enjoyed a nice swim. This was Trippy's favorite visit.
Poor Yahoo. Nothing could follow Google. Yahoo is right next to a top secret Lockheed Martin facility, where they flew UFOs around for Trippy. But Trippy just watched it all with a glazed expression. He was unmoved.

I'm too frustrated to talk about it. Trippy is having a wonderful time, though. Let's just say that he'll never work for Steve. We'll be lucky if Apple doesn't sue Computer Camp out of existence. I miss Clarus.
Also, I can't tell you how happy I am that you can't actually see what Trippy did to the side of the HP garage.
Trippy is grounded for at least three days.
One of the exercises here at Computer Camp is to familiarize oneself with, erm, computers.
With that in mind, Trippy has a wiki space set up. We'll try to keep it relatively current, and there is a feed available here.
(Thanks for the photo, Pastilla!)
